TAMARAC, FL – Gurkha Cigar Group International begins 2022 with a warm welcome to William “Willy” Marante. Willy brings a wealth of knowledge from his years in the cigar industry. “We at Gurkha are excited to bring Willy on board as a brand new member to the Gurkha Family,” comments Juan Lopez, VP of Sales at Gurkha. “His many years of experience in both the retail and wholesale sectors of the industry are invaluable as he will be taking over the New Mexico, Ohio, Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Washington, Oregon, and Colorado Domestic Markets as well as South America’s International Markets in Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.”

Willy began his career in retail cigar sales and previously worked with Miami Cigars/Aurora Cigars as a Regional Account Manager and on to a National Sales Director at Tarazona Cigars. “I would like to thank Jim Colucci, Juan Lopez, and the entire Gurkha Family for the opportunity. The Gurkha name is synonymous for Luxury and Prestige in the industry, and I am excited to represent such name. I look forward to getting out there and meeting and smoking with the #GurkhaNation and continuing the growth and development of all our brick and mortar relationships.”
